90th Birthday Bonanza

The Mudgeeraba Show will celebrate its 90th birthday on the 23rd and 24th June, and your invitation is here!

Held at Mudgeeraba Showgrounds on the corner of Mudgeeraba Road and Worongary Road, this community-run event attracts thousands of visitors annually to join in the vibrant, homegrown carnival atmosphere.

With agricultural competitions, live entertainment and an impressive display of produce and wares unique to our region, this is a massive event with something for the whole family to enjoy.

Ute muster and livestock competitions

Get a taste of country on the Gold Coast with the ‘Ute Muster’ car competition, equestrian ring program, and of course, livestock competitions with farm animals ranging from sheep and poultry to everyone’s favourite: the miniature goats!

The kids will love the animal nursery and can get involved with carnival rides, show bags, face painting and even pony rides.

Live music and fireworks

Sit back and enjoy live music at the showgrounds, featuring Australian country music artists Adam Brand and Chad Morgan alongside a quality lineup of local artists.

There will be no shortage of entertainment throughout the weekend with dancers, singers, aerial acrobats and a stunning fireworks display on Saturday night!

Yabbie races

Have you ever seen a yabby race? This year’s Mudgeeraba Show might be your chance.

In celebration of its 90th birthday, the show is bringing back this quirky Aussie classic that will auction off and race these crustaceans to the finish line!

Find the 2018 Yabby Races at the Woodchop Bar on both Saturday and Sunday.

Community showcase

The Mudgeeraba pavilion will transform into a showcase of community talent across a wide range of sections, from sewing and arts and crafts to homebrew, honey and preserves.

Exhibits from many local community groups and schools will feature as part of the indoor display, with a unique heritage section to commemorate the rich history of the Mudgeeraba Show, founded in 1928.

A family friendly fun weekend

With hundreds of exhibitors, nonstop live entertainment and plenty for the kids, plan for a fun weekend with the family and enjoy the community atmosphere at this longstanding event in our local area.
