Bunnings Warehouse coming to Robina

Robina is set to welcome a new superstore, with leading home improvement retailer Bunnings Warehouse set to open.  Situated on the corner of Scottsdale Drive and Christine Avenue, opposite Robina Automall and next to brand new Robina Home + Life Centre, Bunnings will further expand the retail and showroom precinct.

With over 43,000 staff in Australasia, more than 360 trading locations catering for commercial and consumer customers and annual revenue of over $12 billion (as at 30 June 2018), Bunnings is a brand that has permeated Australian homes and hearts.

Australia’s largest home improvement retailer, Bunnings prides itself on offering the widest range at the lowest prices, with the very best customer service.

As part of their Gold Coast City expansion, Bunnings secured the Christine Avenue site at Robina, which has ideal corner location with plenty of parking directly outside.

According to Bunnings Queensland South State Operations Manager, Margaret Walford, Robina made perfect sense as the next location for Bunnings Gold Coast City, citing the central location and vibrant community as contributing factors.

“We chose to open a store in Robina to further complement our Gold Coast network. Once completed, the Robina Warehouse will be the seventh Bunnings Warehouse to open on the Gold Coast,” Ms. Walford said.

“The new Bunnings Warehouse Robina will be located within a masterplanned community that has excellent access to the major arterial roads on the Gold Coast,” she said.

With conversion and reformatting works already underway and progressing as planned at the new Bunnings Warehouse in Robina, customers can expect doors to open early December.

Upon completion, the new Bunnings Warehouse Robina, will span over 10,000 square metres and employ over 110 team members, further boosting the growing workforce of Robina, which is already a major employment hub, boasting over 20,000 employees.

The warehouse will feature a two-lane timber drive-thru, large nursery, kitchen and bathroom displays, café, kids playground and car parking for over 320 cars.

The new Bunnings in Robina showcases continuing job creation and a constant expansion of Robina’s retail offerings, which reflect the research and government endorsement of Robina’s future vision.

Experts predict future growth in Robina to encompass Gold Coast City’s largest office precinct, a doubled workforce and a $3.4 billion increase in economy, all by 2050.

With Robina sitting at the heart of Gold Coast City and offering a major public transport centre, with unrivalled connectivity to both the north and south, the vibrant community is perfectly positioned to become a primary Queensland hub for business, education and economic momentum.

Businesses such as Bunnings who choose to operate and invest in Robina are able to capitalise on the regions continuing growth and momentum, underpinned by the advantages of living, working and doing business within a thriving and vibrant masterplanned community.

Stay tuned to Bunnings for the official opening date for the Robina warehouse which is looking set to arrive just in time to get the house ready for Christmas.
