Christmas is a wonderful time of family, friends and fellowship

Decorations line our shopping centres, our homes boast lights and our schedules are bursting with events, work break-ups and social outings. During the busy season, I’d like to take this opportunity to highlight the great work of our local churches and the myriad of Christmas services to unfold this season.  Since the inception of our master planned community, churches have played a significant role in our area – and particularly at our events. The volunteer support has been invaluable and I look forward to this partnership continuing in future.

  • Christmas Eve from 3.30pm (Nativity)

Salt Church, 2 University Drive, Robina

Importantly, there’s no denying that Christmas can also be a tough time for people in our community – so perhaps it’s a time to welcome someone in. If you’re looking for a practical way to give back, the Annual James Jacobs Fellowship Christmas Lunch held on Christmas Day from 11.30am to 2.30pm in Southport is looking for volunteers.  Call 07 5563 8855 for more information.
