insideR has enlisted the help of guest blogger, Coffee Mumma this month to get the hot tip on where in Robina to pull up a pew to enjoy a hot brew with the kids in tow – Over to you, Belinda.

After living in Robina for almost a decade, I’m proud to call myself a ‘local’.

My husband and I have always loved a lazy brunch at a café, but since the arrival of our daughter we found we had a whole new set of parameters in choosing the perfect café for us. We now value cafes with a great variety on the menu, space for pram access, nearby toilets and of course; babycinos are a must.

That is how Coffee Mumma was born. We review cafes across the Gold Coast to help equip parents with everything they need to have a successful outing with their kids.

Robina in particular has a great range of cafes, and just like our suburb they are all friendly, easygoing and welcoming. I’m excited to share with you some of my favourite kid-friendly cafes right here in Robina.

The Market Place  – Shop 71, Arbour Ave, Robina

The newest coffee hub in Robina is The Market Place. Tucked away in Arbour Avenue, it is out of the way of the hustle of Robina, but still only minutes from the Robina Hospital and Robina Town Centre, and just a short stroll down the road from Robina Professional Centre.

This cafe is roomy, bright and filled with dappled light from the beautiful surrounding trees. They also have a lovely range of local gift products available for purchase.

They also sell the most adorable handmade decorated cookies, which are always a hit with the kids.

Serendipity Espresso – 4/328 Scottsdale Dr, Robina

Serendipity is home to the sweetest little kids play area out the back, so parents can enjoy a few moments peace to enjoy their meals.

The team is so friendly and welcoming, and they have a great menu with something to please everyone.

Best of all, they have a promotion called “freckle Friday”, where every babycino comes with a chocolate freckle!

Crafted Coffee Co – The Kitchens, Robina Town Centre

Inspired by European coffee culture and unlike anything offered on the Gold Coast, Crafted Coffee Co. is part of foodie heaven at The Kitchens at Robina Town Centre, where the aromas of freshly roasted coffee welcome customers into the heart of the café.

You’ll find your everyday favourites along with cold drip, cold brew and pour over styles, prepared by passionate and skilled baristas.

They have an open space upstairs where you can spread out with the kids, and a brand new kids menu – plus you can get a free kids meal with every adult meal ordered – winning!

I find this place is GREAT for a special treat after finishing the grocery shopping.

Just for the grownups, read insideR’s  review of Crafted Coffee’s exceptional cocktails here.

Robina is spoilt for choice when it comes to amazing cafes and restaurants.  Hopefully I’ve introduced you to some new family-friendly coffee spots to try right here in Robina.  I’d also love for you to take a minute and check out our website for our reviews of cafes right across the Gold Coast.
