Robina Town Centre is turning 20 years old and you’re invited to celebrate this landmark destination in the heart of Gold Coast City on Thursday 28 April.

The popular destination first opened its doors in April 1996 and at the time was the largest shopping centre in Australia to be built in a single development period.

Mayor Tom Tate will speak on this momentous occasion and you’ll be able to enjoy The Aurora Tree lights as they light up the promenade for the first time along with fireworks and performances by the Gold Coast Choir.

American Artist Charles Gadeken created The Aurora Tree artwork which takes the form of a soaring  willow tree 9 metres in height and comes to life in a spectrum of colours at night time with the push of a button on a smartphone or tablet.
