Looking out the window of The Rocket building we can see the new $20.5 million Australian Unity Group Private Hospital now under construction.

Development on the 6662-square-metre property at Bayberry Lane will come in three stages, with the first stage consisting of a 90 bed sub-acute hospital which will complement the existing facilities available in the Robina medical precinct.

The first stage is due for completion in 2016 with a full surgical hospital being developed in later stages.

This follows a recent run of developments starting construction in Robina including Botanique Terrace Homes and Boheme Apartments.

Currently there is $1Billion dollars worth of investment underway in Robina, which is a combination of Robina Group’s development pipeline, developments by other stakeholders as well as ongoing upgrades to existing major infrastructure.
