Abundant healthy food options + $100 voucher to be won

With the healthy eating movement continuing to rise on the Gold Coast, locals are becoming increasingly concerned about their personal health and that of their children. Robina locals are lucky to have Byron Bay’s very own Naked Treaties now on their doorstep at The Kitchens, with their abundance of nutritious food to satisfy your appetite and your taste buds.

Naked Treaties is 100 per cent vegan and gluten free with each and every dish handmade with a lot of love, so you benefit from organic and local produce.

The moment we arrived at Naked Treaties, we were welcomed with a warm smile from co-managers Kristen Graham and Sonia Leeson, who were more than happy to explain their passion for taking health to the next level.

The key message – healthy definitely doesn’t mean boring!

We found this to be the case with each and every meal, snack, smoothie and juice we tasted at Naked Treaties.

The vibrant colours radiate off your plate to create a mouth-watering meal that looks so good, you can’t wait to eat it!

We started our afternoon of guilt-free indulgence with a ‘creamy kale Caesar salad’. It is hard to tell this is a vegan take-off of the real deal, with coconut flakes toasted with spices to create ‘fakin bacon’. Combined with a mouth-watering Caesar dressing made from scratch everyday and massaged kale and Paleo bread croutons, your tastebuds will definitely thank you.

Next up, we sunk our teeth into the ‘rainbow wrap’, which definitely lived up to all expectations -the lively and colourful raw vegetables jump out at you and absolutely deliver in the taste department.

Our wrap featured a combination of ingredients for ultimate digestion, along with sauces made from scratch, all held together with an activated buckwheat and turmeric wrap. The ‘rainbow wrap’ is best for those busy bees looking for a ‘grab ‘n go’ meal filled with veggies and nutrients to keep you going until dinner time.

By this stage our stomachs were well and truly at capacity, however we made room to squeeze in a taste of the absolutely decadent looking, guilt-free healthy treats in the window. The nutrient-filled desserts include some of our favourites like the ‘praline lush bomb’ – with a Ferrero Rocher feel –  and the absolutely must-try salted caramel espresso cheesecake – once you taste this dessert we can assure you that you will be coming back for more!

These desserts are perfect for that 3pm pick-me-up and, with all natural ingredients, you don’t need to feel guilty about indulging.

We paired our treats with the most amazing chai latte – let us assure you that this is definitely a winter-warmer staple. Made with both wet and dry chai spice and using Naked Treaties very own house-made creamy almond milk and even has undertones of cinnamon. Trust us when we say, you need to try this for yourself!

Completely full to the brim, the lovely ladies at Naked Treaties told us we couldn’t leave without tasting a ‘chaga-chaga bang-bang’. With not a clue what they were talking about, we thought ‘why not?’ and decided to try this strange sounding drink.

It turns out, a chaga-chaga bang-bang is Naked Treaties answer to a bulletproof coffee – used to boost energy and brain function. The ‘veganised’ version is great for your gut health, parasites and immunity with medicinal mushrooms which produce medically significant metabolites. Made with organic coffee, house made almond milk and MCF (Medium Change Triglycerides, found in coconut oil), not only does this taste great, but the benefits are infinite.

If you haven’t yet, make sure you head down to Naked Treaties at The Kitchens Robina to try these Instagram-worthy meals for yourself – your health (and your followers) with thank you later!
