In 2013, Mudgeeraba’s Somerset College students achieved the highest OP scores in Gold Coast City, with 46 of 115 OP eligible students achieving the outstanding OP score of 1-5 and another 49 students receiving OP scores of 6-10.

In a very close second, at All Saints Anglican College in Merrimac, 44 out of 130 OP eligible students achieved an OP score of 1-5 in 2013 and another 55 students scored an OP of 6-10.

All Saints boasts a well-balanced curriculum and promotes the pursuit of excellence; their 2013 State Government annual report highlights quality outcomes across the board, including a 96% student attendance rate, 90% of year 12 students achieving an OP of 1-15, 99% of Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) applicants receiving an offer for tertiary studies and 100% of year 12 students completing an SAT receiving one or more QCE, IBD or VET qualifications.

Emmanuel College in Carrara and Miami High had each and every one of their OP eligible students score 1-15 in 2013, representing a one hundred per cent outcome for students.

In addition to the exceptional educational outcomes achieved at secondary school in Robina and the surrounding areas, Robina is also home to Australia’s highest rated tertiary institution for educational experience, Bond University.

In the 2014 Good Universities Guide, Australia’s first private, not for profit university was rated the most five stars for any university for educational experience.

Scoring fives in teaching quality, generic skills, staff-student ratio and overall satisfaction, Bond University scooped the pool, also scoring fours in starting salaries and gaining full time employment.
