Community Hero Awards – regognising our local heroes

We all know someone who deserves recognition for the hours of hard work they do out and about in the community.

If they work or volunteer in Robina or Varsity Lakes, then Councillor Hermann Vorster wants to know about them.

Consider nominating someone deserving today for a Division 11 Community Hero Award – it’s time to thank the unsung heroes.

It’s easy to nominate, click here.

Nominations close Monday 5 September 2016.

Grants to support the community

Funds up to the value of $20,000 are available for the community in Round 1 of Councillor Hermann Vorster’s Divisional Donations for 2016-17.

We all want to ensure our community remains a great place to live, work and raise a family. And that means supporting our hard working community groups.

The focus for this round is Local Law and Order, School P&Cs and Service Clubs.

If you have a project or initiative that aligns with any of these categories apply here.

Applications close Friday 9 September 2016.
