Office space generates strong sales and leasing demand

With demand at an all-time high for quality new commercial offices,  sales activity in Robina Group’s CityPods office precinct has ended with a flurry, and a solid $14 million injection into the ongoing Robina success story.

The final commercial space in this centrally-located precinct sold last month for $1.055 million.

Robina Group General Manager Hylton Slater advised there had been an almost even split of owner occupiers and investors, with the majority of purchasers based in Gold Coast City.

“Of the purchasers, 80 per cent have been local, with two interstate and one international investor rounding out the 15 owners,” he said.

Lease incentives you won’t want to miss

With all 15 stand-alone offices in the CityPods precinct now sold, the Robina Group’s focus has shifted to leasing.  A limited number of new, ready-to-move-in offices is now available to lease with exceptional incentives being offered including a rent-free period or fitout contribution*.

CityPods is a unique turn-key solution for small to medium businesses looking for a stand-alone office in the heart of CBDRobina.

Offices available to lease range in size from 103 – 304 square metres – view the full list of available offices for lease here.

Located on arterial road Scottsdale Drive, CityPods enjoys both ease of access and exceptional signage exposure.

At the heart of the M1 Business Precinct, neighbours include Condev’s head office, a new Sunkids child care centre, a 7 Eleven, and Australian Industry Trade College among others.  Access to the M1 Motorway, the nearby train station and throughout Gold Coast City is easy and direct.

Mr Slater said CityPods was now home to a wide variety of local and national businesses in the medical, property, technology and financial industries.

“About a third of the businesses now open at CityPods have re-located from within Robina, demonstrating the confidence in the region and the strong underlying demand for new commercial space.

“A number of companies have chosen to make CityPods their new headquarters, with stand-alone office space that can be tailored to meet individual business needs rare in Gold Coast City,” he said.

“CBDRobina has already made a name for itself as Gold Coast City’s health, education and innovation capital, so it’s not surprising that CityPods has attracted businesses in these fields looking to capitalise on the ease of access, local amenity and high profile signage exposure.”

Independent research by Urbis confirms the sought-after nature of CBDRobina, with a recent report stating that the business hub boasts one of the lowest office vacancy rates in the nation at just 5.6 per cent.
