The Robina Group is nearing sell-out of its CityPods commercial project, following the sale of a 250sqm freehold office space recently for circa $1 million.

Just two dual-level CityPods remain available for purchase, along with a limited number for lease, on the back of the sale to Robina Therapy – which will provide a range of mental health and psychology services.

The purchase will see Dr Sigi Gutjahr shift her practice into her own rooms after working at the Lakeside Rooms in Robina for eleven years as a psychiatrist specialising in psychotherapy.

Dr Sigi Gutjahr said the stand-alone CityPod would offer clients more privacy when visiting the practice.

“We liked the look and feel of CityPods, especially the fact the office space is freestanding, private and features an open plan layout which we can tailor to our business and client needs,” she said.

“The established landscaping in the CityPods precinct gives the whole area a relaxed ambience, which is very important in our line of business.

“Because each CityPod is a stand-alone building, we will be able to install solar panels on our roof so our business will be energy efficient, which is another major plus.

“We have been considering purchasing office space in CBDRobina for quite some time, because it’s such a central and easily accessible area – and CityPods presented the right opportunity for us.”

The Robina Group general manager Hylton Slater said the sale to Robina Therapy added to the diverse CityPods tenancy mix.

“CityPods now boasts a mix of medical, financial, property and consulting businesses, attracted to CityPods because of its strategic location near the motorway and public transport,” he said.

“CityPods embraces the trend towards flexible floorplates which offer a blank canvas for businesses.

“Purchasers or tenants can opt to create an open plan office to encourage a collaborative work environment, or tailor the design to include private board rooms and work spaces.

“This approach has proven popular with small to medium businesses looking for an independent commercial space, which they can make their own and move into straight away, with all fittings including kitchens and amenities already operational.

“We now have three furnished displays at CityPods open by appointment, so prospective purchasers and tenants can see exactly how their business could benefit from a location here.”

Two CityPods remain available for sale and a limited number remains for lease from $375/sqm pa including outgoings.  For further information, contact Marcus Weld at Robina Marketing Australia on 0414 726 207 or mweld@robina.com.au
