Gold Coast City, clear your diaries. This weekend is one of the most jam-packed in Gold Coast City history.

Arts and cultural fiesta Bleach Festival has been gaining momentum into its second week of 2015 and brings an array of activity across Gold Coast City this weekend.

Robina Library hosts a Bleach Festival book clinic this Saturday 14 March from 10.30am to 12pm, bringing the brilliance of Bleach into bookworm life.

The inaugural Bleach Picnic in your Patch this Saturday comes to Mudgeeraba, with special guest Clare Bowditch serenading locals with her sweet and soulful songs. Hinterland Regional Park will be transformed for this community picnic, featuring Bleach signature characters Fish out of Water and Ants, visual, theatrical and physical story-telling for kids from Top Secret Storytellers Clubhouse and fun, games and ‘crafternoon’ activities for the whole family.

If opera is your musical genre of choice, then look no further than Feast on Bleach. A huge street party with an operatic ode, Feast on Bleach will transform Fifth Avenue in Palm Beach into an al fresco dining room under the stars and outdoor extravaganza for Opera Queensland’s performance of the Adventures of Figaro.

Sunday 15 March swells furthermore with events not to be missed.

In partnership with Robina’s Bond University, Sunday will showcase the Bleach Poetry Gallery in the exquisite grounds of Bond University, followed by the beloved Live at Bond concert series featuring internationally celebrated Indigenous Australian entertainer Christine Anu in the lush green surrounds of Bond University’s ADCO amphitheatre.

Over at Miami’s Rabbit and Cocoon arts precinct, Sunday will see Clare Bowditch host the Big hearted business morning tea, to help inspire creative people in business pathways and offer insight to business people seeking creative corridors.

Following this, kiwi music prodigy, Tiki Taane, will make Miami move with his reggae dub fusion, made famous initially in NZ music group Salmonella Dub.

If this is not enough to make your weekend calendars burst at the seams, visit the Bleach website to check out all these events and more.
